KC Wells’ Love Lessons Learned

It’s Friday and almost the weekend. To get ready for the weekend, I have the pleasure to have K.C. Wells visit my blog today. Her new book Love Lessons Learned is out now and it is the first book in a spinoff series from her popular Learning To Love series. You can read all about the book below the interview. Plus there’s a giveaway for a copy of the book.

Amanda C. Stone: Before we start I just want to say that I am a big fan of your books and can’t wait to read this new one. Ok, that’s my fan girl moment of the interview. Now for the first question. If you could travel anywhere, all expenses paid, where would you go. And name one thing you’d see or do while you’re there.
KC Wells: I’d go to Egypt. I’ve always wanted to go there, ever since I was a kid. Egyptology has always fascinated me. And as for what I’d do there? A Nile cruise. I’d make sure it went to all the places I’d want to see, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s palace, a trip to Abu Simbel…. Sigh.
ACS: I would love to go to Egypt. It’s on my bucket list to visit. But a Nile cruise would be so much fun. If you were a candy bar, what would you taste like?
KCW: Something rich that melts in your mouth and is totally addictive 🙂
ACS: Since your books are so addictive I’d say that a candy version of you would be as well. If there were a movie about your life, who would play you (can be anyone alive or dead)?
KCW: Ooh, that’s a difficult one! Maybe Emma Thompson or Kate Winslett?
ACS: Those are two amazing actresses. Three words about “50 Shades of Grey”.
KCW: Didn’t. Finish. It.
ACS: So many people either didn’t read it or didn’t finish it! Last question and it’s a doozy! You are on a deserted island and you only have one book with you. Which book is it?
KCW: *snorts* Will Parkinson’s suggestion was “How to get off a Deserted Island”.

But for me? A Thing of Beauty by Jake Jaxson and RJ Sebastian. I could gaze at those beautiful photos ALL DAY. RJ captures so much with that lens of his. He portrays the CockyBoy models in stolen moments, revealing emotion, intimacy, and so much more. They (Jake and RJ) are such an interesting couple. When I met them recently, I could have talked with them all night. One day I hope to meet the missing piece, Benny Morecock (He wasn’t able to be there that night)

But I would never tire of looking at that book. I think I’d wear the cover off it!
ACS: I’ll have to check out that book. As a visual person it sounds right up my alley. Thank you so much for joining me today. It was such a pleasure. Now read all about the book.

Blurb:
John Wainwright is having a momentous day. To start off, he lands his first teaching job. Then his brother, Evan, and Evan’s husband, Daniel, take him out to celebrate in Manchester’s gay village. An encounter with a sexy man forces John to admit what he’s been denying for too long—he’s gay. His coming out proves he’s supported and loved by his family and roommates. What more could a man want? There’s just one small problem: John’s dishy Head Teacher, Brett Sanderson, and John’s gigantic crush on him. Too bad Brett is straight.

Brett Sanderson leads a double life. At thirty-three, he is the Head Teacher of a primary school. But for seven years now, during every school holiday, Brett has fled to Brighton, where he becomes ‘Rob,’ a man who has a different guy in his bed every night but has never had a relationship.

Once he’s back in school, Brett is firmly back in that closet, until his newest staff member start prying open the door. When John pulls out all the stops to get Brett’s attention, neither man is prepared for the consequences.

About K.C. Wells:
Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C.Wells always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way.

K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, where the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings – writing about men in love was even hotter…

K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career.

The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.

K.C. can be reached via email (k.c.wells@btinternet.com), on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/KCWellsWorld) or through comments at the K.C.Wells website (www.kcwellsworld.com ) K.C. loves to hear from readers.
