Blurb:
After cheating on and losing the man he loved, Morgan Conway decided to get his life right. Now he owns a coffee shop and is engaged to Jase, an actor and rising star. All is perfect in his world until the man he thought was gone forever walks into his shop. His hidden feelings rush to the surface, unfortunately there for everyone to see, including his fiancé.

Shae Delamere was crushed when Morgan cheated on him five years ago. But he has a reason for seeking Morgan out. As Morgan and Shae get to know each other again, they discover the extent that friends meddled in their lives to keep them apart. Morgan cannot deny he is still in love with Shae, but he is engaged. With some hard decisions to make, Morgan struggles not to hurt the men he cares about—again. Shae has secrets he came to share with Morgan, but revealing them now could keep them apart for good.

Exclusive Excerpt:
Morgan looked up as someone jostled his leg. Elroy sat opposite him, settling with a grunt of satisfaction. He picked up his cappuccino and downed a large gulp. “Better?” Morgan asked, already knowing the answer.

“Hell, yes. God, what a start to the day. I thought that woman was never going to shut up.” Elroy flopped back in the chair, his hat falling over one eye.

“You do seem to bring out the worst in women,” Morgan observed.

“I have a knack,” he agreed, completely unbothered by the observation. He closed his eyes as he sipped his coffee.

There was something wrong with Elroy. Normally Elroy would be running his mouth about the script he had read or the actress he had in the sack the night before. A few moments passed. Elroy slurped on his coffee and then sighed.

Worrying at his bottom lip, Morgan waited to see if Elroy would speak. When he didn’t, Morgan said “Elroy?” and waited for him to open his eyes again. “What’s the matter?” Elroy took his time answering.

“Have you spoken to Tommy this morning?” Morgan shook his head. “Tommy? No, why? Is there something wrong with him? Jase would have called me if he’d seen him.”

Jase was Morgan’s fiancé. Normally he would have joined Morgan at the coffee shop, but he’d had a callback on the other side of town. Tommy, a friend of Morgan’s from high school and sometime security guard, occasionally ran into Jase at the studios.

His blue eyes resting on Morgan, Elroy said, “I got a call this morning from Tommy. Morgan, Shae Delamere is back in town.”

“What?” Morgan whispered. He put down his coffee cup quickly, his hand shaking so badly some froth slopped over the side. “Tommy wanted to make sure you knew before you ran into him. Delamere’s dad is ill, and he’s come back to see him.”

It took a couple of attempts for Morgan to be able to get words out without his voice cracking. “Does he know I’m still here?”

Elroy looked at him sympathetically. “He’s always known, Morgan. Why do you think he stayed away for so long?”

About Sue:
Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. In fact she hides so she can plot and has gotten expert at ignoring the orders.

Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. The series was boring; the kissing was not. She may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
