Jackie Nacht Blog Tour
Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Jackie Nacht on my blog. She has some pretty exciting new books coming out. I’ve been all about shifter stories in my reading lately so this comes at a great time. Check out the blurbs below and decide which one to read first. She also has a giveaway going on for the duration of her eight week long blog tour. So be sure to go to the bottom of the page to enter!
Amanda C. Stone: I’m so glad you could join me today Jackie. I’m going to jump right in and ask my first question. When and why did you begin writing?
Jackie Nacht: I’ve only been seriously writing a little over three years. It took a lot for me to turn to writing. I saw another teen suicide in the news and this one bothered me so badly, I wrote See. I guess I thought if I wrote about teen suicide and bullying, I may help at least one teen out.
ACS: Wow. That’s great that you were able to take something so tragic and use it to hopefully help other teens. So how do you come up with the titles? You have some great ones.
JN: LOL My funny ones kind of just pop into my head when I’m writing the story but some take weeks and fine combing my manuscript for that symbol that will become the title.
ACS: Are you able to write full time?
JN: I’m a full time mom first and part time writer.
ACS: Is it your ambition to write full time or something you want to keep on the side?
JN: My ambition is to start writing a little more when the kids get a bit older. It would be great to be a full time writer. I can only hope.
ACS: Juggling being a mom and writing is always hard. I think it’s great that you’re doing what works for you now. Now onto a few fun questions. Three words about “50 Shades of Grey”.
JN: Never read it. O.O
ACS: Ok last question. If you were a candy bar, what would you taste like?
JN: Junior mint. A little bit of chocolate with a splash of mint makes one powerful flavor. 🙂
ACS: Thank you again for joining me today. Good luck with all of the great new books you have coming out!
Now read all about the books.

Short, sexy and sweet—where a little love goes a long way.
That’s the best way to describe Jackie Nacht’s stories. I was introduced to M/M Romance through my sister, Stephani, and read it for years. Then, I thought it was time to put my own stories on paper. I began writing short and sweet stories that ended with a happily ever after…and sometimes more than one, in the case of my YA Fork in the Road series, which has interactive endings.
Thinking back to my own book addiction, where there were many nights I stayed up way too late so I could read just one more chapter—yeah, right—I decided to write short romances for young adults as well as adults. Hopefully, they will give high school and college students, or working men and women something they can read during their lunch hour, in between classes or just when they want to briefly get away from the daily stresses of everyday life.
