Eric Thornton’s Absolute
The cover of Eric Thornton’s book Absolute just makes me want to take a vacation somewhere nice and warm and read a book. Of course I wouldn’t be opposed to that book being his book since it takes place at a nice beach-y location. Today I get the pleasure of interviewing Eric, even though it sadly wasn’t at a tropical location. Below the interview you can get all of the details about the book and read an excerpt that I know you’ll want to read. At the very bottom is a giveaway for an e-copy of the book.
Amanda C. Stone: First I’m so excited to have you here today. It’s a shame we couldn’t get the cabana booked for us to relax in but that’s alright. If there were a movie about your life, who would you want to play you? It can be anyone alive or dead.
Eric Thornton: I honestly couldn’t tell you. I don’t know if any actors could ever portray me the way I am and always have been. But I would like someone that could be a young Seth MacFarlane if such a person exists.
ACS: I have to say Seth MacFarlane isn’t too bad looking at his current age. But a young version of him, we must find this man! If you could be famous/infamous for one thing, what would you choose?
ET: I would love to be famous for writing wonderful m/m fiction. I idolize people like Bailey Bradford and TJ Klune who write full length novels that capture people’s interest by storm.
ACS: I think being famous for what you do is something most of us would love the claim. There are magically 25 hours in a day. What would you do with the extra hour?
ET: Spend it with my fiance. I feel bad for writing so much and not spending much time with him but he constantly says he understands.
ACS: That’s wonderful that you have a significant other that is understanding. But I do like your idea of spending more time with him if you could. If you were a candy bar what would you taste like?
ET: Sweet, and savory.
ACS: Good combination! Last question! If you could travel anywhere all expenses paid where would you go? Name one thing you’d see or do there.
ET: I would love to travel and take my fiance to England as part of his heritage and family line is there. It would be nice to see London and enjoy the wonderful meals and friendly people over a “spot of tea” as they call it (at least I think so)
ACS: I loved when I had the chance to visit England. I know I would go back in a heartbeat so hopefully you get that chance one day. Thank you again for joining me! It was so much fun having you here.
Now read all about the book.

Kristian doesn’t know how much longer he can stay a bachelor. Coastal is full of sexy people. In the meantime, he lives with four guys that watch over him no matter what.
When Julius spots Kristian—and damn he is hot—he doesn’t know how much longer he can hold back.
Will they get together? Do they connect? Or will things become tense?
Julius calmed his breathing a bit before he turned to Kristian and provided a soft, gentle kiss.
“You are amazing. You know that?”
“And you are amazing. We so have to do this again.”
“Sure. But how about you take me on a date first.”
“I’ll pay,” Julius replied and laughed.
An hour later, Julius and Kristian went out for a nice walk. The cool ocean breeze brought a smile to Julius’s face. He hadn’t gone for a simple walk for a while. Normally someone wanted to fuck and leave him behind. But that wasn’t the case at all.
And as they walked, he felt Kristian’s hand take hold of his. The feeling brought a smirk to his face. He was good and comfortable. Good and happy. And if Kristian truly did like him like he hoped was the case nothing was gonna turn out bad in their favor.
Maybe they would end up becoming a steady couple. That would be nice.
That would be the ticket.
Eric Thornton writes just about all the time. He writes short stories and has one novella out. He wishes he could be taken seriously as an author and does his best to try and write longer books.
