Skye Jones’ Claimed By Love

I’m excited to have Skye Jones on my blog for an interview today. She’s got a new book out, Claimed By Love, that sounds so good. Two guys that are mated and find out they’ve got another mate? Can’t wait to read that! Read all about the book after the interview, and an excerpt that’ll make you laugh. At the very bottom enter for a chance to win a copy of the book.

Amanda C. Stone: Good morning Skye! Thank you for joining me today.
Skye Jones: Good morning, Amanda. Thanks for having me 🙂
ACS: If you could have any crazy talent (rolling your tongue, saying the alphabet backwards, fun things) what would you want your talent to be? Or if you already have a crazy talent, what is it?
SJ: Hhmm, crazy talent…I’d love to be able to do that tying a knot in a cherry stem thing you see in the movies and on TV! I mean how do people even do that? Then I’d impress people at parties with it.
ACS: Oh my gosh, I’ve always wondered how people do that too! It’s always done by sexy women with great lipstick too. Anyone can buy the rights to name a star. What would you name a star bought for you?
SJ: I’d name it LSK. That’s the initials for Luke, Sean and Kayley from my first published book. I couldn’t pick one of them and leave the other two out, so I’d name it after all three of them.
ACS: Agreed. You can’t have one without the other two. If you were a shifter, what kind of shifter would you be?
SJ: You know, my initial answer is always to say a wolf shifter. I absolutely love wolves, and wolf shifters are my favorite to read. But then, I’d also love to be able to fly. So maybe a bird shifter of some sort? An eagle would be pretty cool.
ACS: Being able to fly would be amazing! Now you have to write about eagle shifters because I want to read that. If you could travel anywhere all expenses paid where would you go? Name one thing you’d see or do there.
SJ: Oh wow. This is a tricky one. There are so many places I’d like to go and things I’d love to do. But if it was all expenses paid – I’d probably pick New York and really do it in style! I’d like to go in the winter, and I would love to go to the ice staking rink in central park.
ACS: New York City in the winter is wonderful. All of the holiday displays. Definitely something to do at least once in your life. Last question! You are on a deserted island and can have only one book with you. What book would it be?
SJ: It would be something by Jane Austen. Probably Persuasion, which is my favorite book of hers. I can read her work over and over again and they are all familiar. Like seeing an old friend again. So yeah, Persuasion.
ACS: Oh that is such a good book. So glad I’m not the only one that enjoys that one. I’m such an Austen fan too. Might just have to pull out some and read it since I haven’t in a while. I’m so glad you could join me today. I loved having you!
SJ: Thanks so much for having me visit today 🙂

Blurb:
Kayley Edwards has spent the last four years closing herself off after a vicious attack by her lover left her scarred and terrified. After fleeing her native Alaska, she ran the length of the country and began a new life in Miami far from her family and friends.

When her cousin and his friends decide to vacation nearby, he invites her to join them, saying he has important news. Determined not to let fear rule her life, Kayley agrees to meet with them, only to have her world turned upside down. His friends include the two gorgeous men who’ve haunted her dreams for months, kindling her desire, and challenging her to take a chance on love.

Pack alpha, Luke Johnson, has sensed Kayley in his visions for years. He and his mate, Sean Wallace, know she is meant to be theirs. But how will she react when she finds out the world they inhabit is one she never dreamed existed? As passions collide, Sean finds himself acting as a bridge between his strong willed alpha and a skittish Kayley. But can they break through Kayley’s defenses and convince her to join their family?

Just as it seems the three may have a future together, a ghost from Sean’s past strikes at the heart of their happiness. They must fight for everything they hold dear to win their chance at love.

Excerpt:
“Hey.” Luke’s deep voice sent another shiver skittering up Sean’s back. “Miss me?”

“Always.” Sean turned and buried his face in Luke’s neck. As he inhaled deeply he heard Luke do the same. Soft lips nuzzled at him moving down until they found the mating mark he’d placed on him when they’d bonded. Luke’s tongue laved over the spot dragging a low moan out of Sean. It always hit him deep in his belly when Luke paid attention to the sensitive area. “How did it go?” he murmured as Luke continued his ministrations.

“Crappy. The guy was a pain in the ass” Luke said with a quirk of his lips. “I mean literally. Dude had this big old set of stone thrones like something out of a movie and he offered me the one next to him. My ass went numb about twenty minutes in.”

Sean waggled his eyebrows. “Maybe I’ll have to massage it later bring it back to life.”

“Ass CPR?” Luke snorted. “Sounds…interesting.”
