Lisa Oliver’s Fighting Fangs

I’m a fan of paranormal books, and BDSM books. Since Fighting Fangs has both, I am excited to read it. Lisa stopped by for a fun interview and we enjoyed talking together. Amanda C. Stone: Good morning! I’m so glad you could join me today!
Lisa Oliver: Hi Amanda, and thank you for chatting with me today.
ACS: Definitely my pleasure! You are traveling with The Doctor (or any other time traveling person). Would you visit the past or the future?
LO: I would love to travel with the Doctor, I think that would be so exciting and I imagine I would have him taking me all over the place. I would love to go back to Elizabethan England as I love that period in time. But I have to say, I also have a hankering to see what the future would be like, say in about a hundred years from now. I think it would be fascinating and I could get so many new ideas for books.
ACS: I don’t think I’d be able to choose just one. I’d love to be a companion. Even just a week I would see some amazing things. If you could snap your fingers and have an invention to do anything you want, what would you want it to do?
LO: Oh, that’s easy. I want something that will channel my brain into two distinct halves so that I can have two computers set up and be writing two books at exactly the same time. I currently have four book series that all need new books and to be able to do two at once would be wonderful. Or maybe a clone of me or something, that I can put in the cupboard when I am not working. I wrote two books during the last NaNoWriMo challenge, but obviously I couldn’t do both at the same time – it was a huge undertaking, but I was so proud of myself when I got it done.
ACS: That’s wonderful you got two done in such a short time! Anyone can buy the rights to name a star. What would you name a star bought for you?
LO: Oh, I didn’t know you could do that – I am definitely going to have to Google that idea. I would name the star Cloverleah after my first ever wolf pack. I wanted to get a car rego plate with that name on it, but I had too many letters. A star called Cloverleah would be awesome.
ACS: Naming a start after your wolf pack would be fun. There is magically 25 hours in a day. What would you do with the extra hour?
LO: I would like to think I would do something noble with it, Amanda, but honestly I would probably sleep. I work seven days a week as it is and I never seem to get enough done. Hmmm, would it be possible to gather up that extra hour each day and make it into an extra 7 hour block perhaps? That would be useful.
ACS: I’d love to create an extra day in the week so we can have an extra day to either get things done or have fun. Sort of a second Friday. Last question! If there were a movie about your life, who would you want to play you? It can be anyone alive or dead.
LO: Angelina Jolie or Cher – they would both probably be totally bored with the role, lol, as I lead a very boring life, but if I could be anyone it would be Cher. I have a lot of respect for that woman, although Angelina Jolie in the Lara Croft movies was really cool too.
ACS: Agreed! I loved Angelina Jolie as Lara. Then again I’m a big nerd and liked seeing a game I played way back in the day on the big screen. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I loved having you.

Warnings; this is a gay erotic romance about a wolf shifter and a vampire. The book includes graphic sex scenes between men, BDSM elements and coarse language.

Devin’s eyes flashed a brilliant red, the sight almost shocking Ace with its intensity and then it was gone just as quickly.

“I want that,” Devin said softly, as his hands came up from where they had been resting on the bed and gripped Ace’s biceps. “I want that a lot,” his voice finishing on a growl that set Ace’s wolf on edge as though not sure whether to challenge or submit. But that growl left Ace in no doubt that the man underneath him was as much a predator as he was.
